AIKO has announced a new upgrade to its INFINITE ABC module series, introducing the world’s first 500W solar module under 2 ㎡. This new generation sets a benchmark in compact module output, offering up to 30W more power than conventional TOPCon modules of the same size.

The updated line includes four variants in the standard 1762mm × 1134mm format:
• INFINITE Black (Mono-glass & Dual-glass): now up to 490W
• INFINITE White (Mono-glass & Dual-glass): now up to 500W

Since the global delivery of the original INFINITE series began in March 2025, AIKO has seen strong demand across Europe, surpassing 1GW in new orders by May during Intersolar. The launch of the Upgraded INFINITE continues this momentum, offering both residential and commercial &industrial customers higher output without increasing module size.

A key differentiator behind AIKO’s performance gains is its proprietary two-step process, which separates the formation of the p-type and n-type tunneling oxide and polycrystalline silicon layers. This decoupling enables each region to be independently optimized—maximizing passivation quality and supporting conversion efficiencies above 27% in mass production.

Another distinctive feature is AIKO’s copper interconnection, which replaces silver-based paste with high-conductivity copper. Unlike traditional silver fingers that require high-temperature sintering and may compromise cell structure, AIKO’s copper solution avoids thermal stress and provides stronger, more durable contact. This significantly enhances micro-crack resistance—a persistent challenge in solar module reliability—while also reducing material cost and supporting long-term sustainability.
