多层次因果推断研究是当代哲学的前沿领域，其核心在于揭示研究对象系统中具有层级性质的因果关系。随着科学哲学研究的深入发展，传统单一层面的因果分析范式已难以应对日益复杂的跨层次因果问题。基于上述研究背景与现实需求，中国科学院哲学研究所特举办为期两天的专题研讨会，旨在系统性探究上述理论困境与实践挑战。 本次研讨会将立足哲学视角，系统探讨多层次因果推断的理论框架及其在科学解释、科学推理与科学定律关键问题研究中的价值。会议旨在为因果研究搭建哲学方法论平台，促进更具解释力的因果理论体系的建立与发展。

Multilevel causal inference is an emerging focus in contemporary philosophy, dedicated to uncovering the layered structure of causation within complex systems. As research in the philosophy of science continues to evolve, traditional single-level models of causation are proving inadequate for addressing the growing challenges posed by cross-level causal interactions. In response to these developments, the Institute of Philosophy at the Chinese Academy of Sciences will host a two-day symposium to explore both the theoretical foundations and practical implications of multilevel causality. Approaching the topic from a philosophical perspective, the symposium will delve into the conceptual frameworks of multilevel inference and their significance for scientific explanation, reasoning, and lawhood. By fostering open dialogue and interdisciplinary exchange, the event aims to promote more robust and explanatory models of causation.
