As the global energy transition accelerates toward clean and low-carbon solutions, high-efficiency and reliable photovoltaic modules have become essential to the success of photovoltaic power projects. In this transition, Huasun Himalaya heterojunction (HJT) modules have demonstrated remarkable technical advantages and consistent performance. Installed in the challenging geographical and climatic conditions of Yunnan Province, China, these modules have proven their competitiveness with impressive real-world generation data, providing solid guarantee of energy yield.
Exceptional Energy Output Validates Core Technological Strengths
Huasun supplied 2.65 GW of Himalaya HJT modules to the Dali PV cluster project, developed by Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower Inc. A recent user evaluation report conducted by Huaneng focused on one-section of the large-scale mountainous project—the Longtan 71.03 MW PV installation in Yangbi County, Dali. The report shows that since its grid connection in May 2023, the Huasun modules have operated with stability and outstanding power generation performance. In 2024, the actual annual power generation reached approximately 95.97 million kWh, outperforming the originally designed output by 2.85%.
This outstanding performance results from multiple synergistic core features. With a bifaciality of over 95%, the modules capture reflected light from the mountainous terrain to enhance rear-side power gain; excellent low-light performance ensures efficient light capture throughout the day; and a superior temperature coefficient of -0.24%/°C ensures stable output even under high temperatures.
