In 2024, Tongwei ranked No. 1 globally in market share for high-purity polysilicon. 

For the eighth consecutive year, Tongwei led the global solar cell shipment rankings, becoming the first company to surpass 300 GW cumulative deliveries.

Its solar modules ranked among the top five worldwide, with products shipped to more than 70 countries and regions, and overseas module shipments nearly doubling year-on-year.

Advancing Through Innovation

Tongwei continues to position technological innovation as a key driver of its global strategy. In the past three years, the company has invested over ¥11 billion in R&D, transforming advanced research into commercial success.

In June 2024, Tongwei inaugurated its Global Innovation R&D Center, focused on future-ready technologies such as high-efficiency crystalline silicon cells, reliable PV modules, and next-generation solutions including TNC, THC, TBC, and perovskite tandems.

In May 2025, Tongwei launched its TNC 2.0 module series, built upon four core innovations: 908 Technology (Tongwei’s 0BB Technology), TPE Technology, Poly Tech, and Stencil Printing. The modules are designed to deliver industry-leading efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, setting new benchmarks for power output and system performance.
