Monday's late night monologues have all addressed the sudden cancellation of The Late Show, with Jon Stewart taking aim at his own parent company (Paramount owns CBS),Stephen Colbert sharing his blunt response, and Donald Trump gloating about the cancellation on social media.
Jimmy Fallon, meanwhile, got right into it too.
"Welcome to The Tonight Show! I am your host...well, at least for tonight," he says in the clip above. "I don't like it. I don't like what's going on one bit. These are crazy times. This morning my dad called and said he's officially a Kimmel guy." (Jimmy Kimmel issued his own response to the cancellation last week.)
Fallon, who also posted on Instagram following the Late Show's announcement, went on to say that Colbert "has done years of incredibly smart and hilarious television," before take a few jabs at the network behind the cancellation.
"Everybody is talking about CBS' decision to end The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and many people are now threatening to boycott the network," he says. "Yeah, CBS could lose millions of viewers, plus tens of hundreds watching on Paramount Plus."
