Suntech, a well-known brand in PV space, showcased its latest modules for different application scenarios, during SNEC 2025.  

According to the company’s official LinkedIn account, the balcony PV system on display was one of its flagship exhibits at the show. The product consists of a flexible PV module, paired with a micro PV-storage system.  

Module 

Featuring back contact (BC) cells, the STP200F-DT64-P series module displayed at the event is rated for a maximum power output of 200 W, while the company did not disclose its efficiency. Featuring a gridline-free BC cell structure on the front side and an aesthetically appealing exterior, its frameless 2.14-mm-thick flexible design enables installation over curved surfaces. Suntech promotes this lightweight module, weighing 3 kg, for low-load-bearing roofs, which are common in balcony PV installations. While not providing the annual power attenuation rate, the company stated it guarantees up to 85% power retention value after 25 years of field operation.

Micro PV-Storage 

The showcased BC flexible module was integrated with the company’s STP-A0103 series micro PV-storage system. While its configuration details were unavailable, we believe it works based on the DC-coupled ESS configuration. Equipped with LiFePO4 battery cells, it can store  up to 1.005 kWh of energy, according to the company. It adds that this integrated system can deliver up to 300 W of single-phase AC power, to the residential consumer. 

Others 

Suntech also displayed its STPMG-800-2 microinverter. This system can be paired with up to 550 W PV modules. The company says the product is engineered to operate at a maximum system efficiency of 96%, and is offered with a 10-year warranty. Designed with an IP67-rated enclosure, Suntech promotes this model for long-term outdoor usage.
