Multiple Chinese PV module manufacturers featured their latest product lineups aimed at the promising European PV market during Intersolar Europe 2025. Qn-SOLAR, a Shanghai-headquartered TOPCon PV module maker, was one of them.  

According to the company’s press release, its booth showcased 2 new models, based on 182 mm (M10) and 182 × 210 mm (G12R) size TOPCon cells, respectively.  

Module Showcase 

The latest QNN182-HG-54 model, rated for a maximum power output of 430 W and an efficiency of up to 22.02%, is built with 108 pieces of M10-size half-cells. Measuring 1,722 × 1,134 × 30 mm and covered with 2 mm front and rear glass, the module weighs 24 kg. The company states this module is also available in a 35 mm frame-based variant, as mentioned in the datasheet. 

The QNN210R-HG-54 model, equipped with 108 G12R size half-cells, offers a power output and efficiency of up to 510 W and 22.93%, respectively. It is larger than the module mentioned above, with dimensions of 1,961 × 1,134 × 30 mm, and it weighs 27.5 kg.  

Without specifying the bifaciality limit of either module, the company claims these models yield up to 20% higher power, attributed to their bifaciality factor, compared to their p-type PERC-based counterparts. 

The company promotes both modules as suitable for Europe’s distributed generation (DG) segment. It adds that these are certified for extreme environmental events, like heavy snowfall and high wind flow, exerting up to 5,400 Pa and 2,400 Pa static mechanical load, respectively. The company claims these modules can withstand up to 25 mm-sized hailstones falling at a speed of 23 m/s.  

According to datasheets, the M10 size cell-based module is offered with a product warranty of 15 years, whereas the G12R counterpart is offered with a warranty of 20 years. Following the first year’s light-induced degradation (LID) at less than 1%, the company claims an annual power attenuation of less than 0.4% for up to 30 years for both modules. Qn-SOLAR adds that these performance warranties are insured by third-party insurers, such as Ariel Re.
