Practice Drives Progress: Bridging Talent and Technology
Spain has emerged as the second-largest solar market in the European Union, with growth far outpacing the regional average. To support this momentum, Trinasolar has delivered integrated PV and storage projects and owned an industry-leading R&D center for solar tracking technology, driving the adoption of advanced technologies in the Spanish solar industry.
In June, Trinasolar, in collaboration with the Institute of Solar Energy at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (IES-UPM), inaugurated a joint Demo Center. This facility provides students with hands-on experience in cutting-edge photovoltaic technologies. Building on their collaboration since 2024, the Demo Center exemplifies the integration of corporate R&D with academic training, provides students with a front-line platform for photovoltaic technology practice, facilitating research translation and talent growth.
Advance Renewable Energy and Illuminate Career Opportunities
In recent years, Brazil has made significant strides in expanding its renewable energy sector, with notable success in distributed systems like rooftop PV. This progress not only bolsters energy security and reduces energy poverty but also generates significant employment opportunities, manifesting the vision of “energy transition driving job creation”.
Trinasolar and Facens Research Institute recently inaugurated a Solar Energy Training Center in Sorocaba. The center integrates technical training, applied research, and industry engagement to develop professionals with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. It offers students real-world learning opportunities while upskilling frontline workers—such as installers, EPC companies, and engineers—by enhancing their technical expertise.
