When I was growing up, a favorite memory of mine was my dad pulling me out ofschool early one day. In a maneuver that was very out of character for him,he and I went to the movies. During the school day. We went to seeCrimson Tide. It was a seminal point of my relationship with my dad, anda memory I cherish to this day.
While The Hunt for Red October will always be my favorite sub movie— and perhaps my favorite movie bar-none — I have always lovedCrimson Tide. To be asked to participate in the Summer of Subs run onThe Incomparable is an incredible honor.
