I and many others would disagree that the Eniac was the first “supercomputer.” That label is generally applied to the Illiac IV. I was involved with the Illiac IV in the 70s when it moved to Moffet Field. The Illiac IV had actual processors (Burroughs) and stored programs that the Eniac didn’t have. The Eniac was extremely important, but it was no “supercomputer.”
