Targeting Europe’s residential PV market, Anker Solix, a Seattle-based provider of plug-and-play balcony PV and storage solutions, showcased its latest offerings at Intersolar Europe 2025. The TaiyangNews team visited the company’s booth, which featured a wide range of balcony PV and storage systems. During a brief conversation, Michelle Kreisig, Senior PR & Public Affairs Manager for Europe, highlighted the company’s latest Anker Solix Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro series balcony PV and storage solution.
Product Description
Performance
Kreisig says that the company’s compact, designed hybrid inverter, featuring 4 MPPT channels, can carry up to 3,600 W PV input power. Each MPPT, with a voltage range of 16 V to 60 V, can accept up to 36 A DC. Although its standard model offers up to 800 W AC 1-phase output power, on demand, this capacity can be extended to up to 1,200 W with an output current of up to 5.3 A, noted Kreisig.
However, its integrated 25.6 V DC and 105 Ah capacity LFP battery bank can store up to 2.68 kWh of energy and deliver up to 1,800 W DC backup power. In line with the consumer’s connected load demand, this system can be scaled to up to 16 kWh energy storage capacity by connecting up to 5 additional vertically installed battery units in parallel. During grid failure or shutdown, its off-grid mode can support up to 1,200 W of 1-phase domestic backup power with a load current of up to 5.3 A. Additionally, the embedded smart Ank intelligence feature optimizes energy usage. For example, leveraging this smart feature combined with a dynamic grid tariff, the system can schedule battery charging overnight, in the event of an overcast weather forecast for the next day, explained Kreisig. Based on the regional dynamic grid tariff, the connected battery bank can be charged or discharged with up to 70 A and 75 A DC, respectively.
Up to 4 Anker Solix Solarbank 3 E2700 Pro units can be connected in parallel, addressing the need of European consumers who are looking for beyond-balcony PV systems.
