Who is impacted?
ZIA customers who use cloud applications as criteria within their policies.
When is the update scheduled?
Deployment is scheduled for July 6, 2024
What are my next steps?
Zscaler does not expect the cloud application changes to negatively impact customer security posture. However as a general security best practice, Zscaler recommends that administrators regularly review and update any policies as required.
After the changes are complete, Zscaler recommends that administrators review the following for accuracy:
- Cloud App Control Policy (under Policy > URL & Cloud App Control)
- Inline Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Policies (under Policy > Data Loss Prevention)
- SSL Inspection Policy (under Policy > SSL Inspection)
- Authentication Exemptions (under Administration > Advanced Settings)
- Kerberos Authentication Exemptions (under Administration > Advanced Settings)
- Bandwidth Classes (under Administration > Bandwidth Classes)
