In addition to these 2 products, Sinopont is offering another standard-cure product called EVA9130W, introduced in 2014. All 3 standard-cure products have the same shrinkage rate of < 3% in the MD direction and < 1.5% in TD. This product has the lowest tensile strength of > 6 MPa across the range and the lowest elongation of > 40%. It also exhibits a low UV cut-off at 320 nm and quite a narrow process temperature window of 145 to 155°C.
EVA9110T and EVA9120B, also introduced in 2014, are the only set of fast-cure class products from the company. Both these products have a tensile strength of > 10 MPa and elongation at break of > 550%. The VA content of the films is 28% and gel content is 75% to 95%. The product group supports a lamination temperature of 130 to 150°C, a vacuum time of 4 to 8 minutes and a press time of 8 to 13 minutes. The difference again is the UV cut-off: EVA9110T, with no UV cut-off, exhibits 91% light transmittance, whereas EVA9120B has a UV cut-off at 320 nm.
All of Sinopont’s products have a standard thickness of 450 μm but can be availed in a range of 200 to 800 μm; a standard width of 1,100mm, but widths between 300 and 2,200 mm can also be opted for. Water absorption at 20°C of 0.1% is also the same for all products except EVA9130W, which is rated at 0.2%. The water resistivity of this model, which is also the same for 7100, is slightly lower at 1 × 1014 Ω cm, while the remaining 4 products of the company are rated at 1 × 1015 Ω cm.
