LAS VEGAS — To close the 2025 NAB Show several members of the Content Delivery & Security Association (CDSA) were honored with Product of the Year honors by the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), which “spotlight the most innovative and forward-thinking new products showcased on the exhibit floor and projects delivered in 2024,” according to the NAB organization.
“These winners are driving the industry forward with a remarkable range of solutions opening new frontiers,” said Eric Trabb, SVP and chief customer success officer for NAB, in a press release.
“We’re proud to celebrate the creativity and impact of our industry’s top work. From cutting-edge advancements and technologies shaping the future of content creation, distribution, and monetization and now the teams behind those efforts – it’s exciting to see how storytellers are connecting with audiences in entirely new ways.”
CDSA winners included:
• In the Operations category, Sinclair Broadcasting, in partnership with Nexstar and Triveni Digital, for the BPS Mesh Network Initial Deployment, and Sinclair Broadcasting, for its migration to an IP platform to facilitate the transition of numerous stations’ master control into the cloud. The IP migration award also offered a nod to CDSA member Zixi as a Sinclair technology partner.
• In the Delivery category, recognizing teams using top technology to enhance customer experiences, CDSA board member NBCUniversal was honored for its satellite downlink ecosystem transformation.
• CDSA board member Adobe took home a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for its Generative Extend in Premiere Pro.
• CDSA member Sony was awarded a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for its BRC-AM7 camera, featuring built-in AI.
• CDSA member Amazon Web Services (AWS) was honored with a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for its Amazon Nova AI multimodel, a low-cost model for processing image, video, and text inputs to generate text output.
• CDSA member Prime Focus Technologies (PFT) earned a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for its CLEAR AI Content Studio and its application toward snackable content creation.
• CDSA member Sony was awarded a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Camera Support Control and Accessories for its VENICE Extension System Mini. Sony also took home a 2025 NAB award in Cameras for its HDC-P50A.
• CDSA member Vubiquity took home a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Media Supply Chain, Automation and Management for its Catalog Intelligence GenAI solution, geared toward changing how media firms manage and monetize content libraries.
• CDSA member Eluvio won a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Streaming for its Eluvio Content Fabric Bangkok release, enabling next-generation distribution and monetization, promising 10x savings over content delivery network (CDN) and media clouds.
• CDSA member Synamedia earned a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Streaming for its Quortex Switch tool, which allows content providers to manage complex video streaming.
• CDSA member Zixi brought home a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Streaming for Zixi Market Switching, which gives content distributors the ability to switch content based around regionalization of content.
• CDSA board member NBCUniversal, along with Fincons Group, earned a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Streaming for its Telemundo NextGen TV Broadcast App Evolution, unlocking addressable advertising for local broadcasters.
• CDSA member AWS brought home a 2025 NAB Show Product of the Year in the category of Streaming for its Media Quality-Aware Resiliency (MQAR) solution, an integrated capability between Amazon CloudFront and AWS Elemental Media Services.
