72.5 MW module deal for RenewSys: India’s integrated solar PV manufacturer RenewSys India Pvt. Ltd. has secured a module supply deal with Radiance Renewables Private Limited. It will supply 72.5 MW of the company’s advanced TOPCon glass-to-glass modules with 590 W output each. RenewSys claims its 144X TOPCon panels have a low temperature coefficient compared to other module technologies. It will complete the delivery between December 2024 and March 2025. Mumbai, Maharashtra-based RenewSys operates a 5.5 GW solar module line, 9 GW of encapsulants and 4 GW of backsheets, and is now installing a high efficiency cell line of 2.5 GW. $100 million facility for MSME sector: The Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) and AFD, France have signed a $100 million credit facility agreement (CFA). This facility will help scale up green finance solutions for Indian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME). Under the partnership, AFD will provide a $100 million credit line to SIDBI who will then deploy the funds to expand access to affordable financing for MSMEs to invest in renewable energy solutions, energy efficiency technologies, and climate-friendly business practices. AGEL’s 250 MW solar plant: An Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) subsidiary Adani Green Energy Twenty Four Limited (AGE24L) has grid-connected a 250 MW solar power project in Rajasthan. The power plant is located at Bhimsar and Dwada in Jaisalmer. This takes the company’s total operational renewable energy generation capacity to over 11.9 GW. PV Hardware in India: Spain-headquartered solar tracker manufacturer PV Hardware (PVH) has opened its 1st office in India in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana. It will be integrated with the company’s global network. This office establishes its presence in the growing solar market of India. It has introduced the company’s flagship tracker AxoneDuo Infinity for the Indian market as it can adapt to the country’s diverse terrains, it said. Huasun at Intersolar India 2025: Leading Chinese HJT manufacturer Huasun Energy recently attended the Intersolar India 2025 in Gujarat using the platform to explore the larger South Asia market. It touts its high-efficiency HJT modules as suitable for India and its neighboring South Asian nations most of which have around 300 sunny days/year.
