According to Logan, the first 3 seconds of the video are, by far, the most important thing to get right.

2. Use trendy formats

Certain types of video formats consistently perform well. New trends come and go, but right now these formats are crushing:

1. Reaction videos

A reaction video is a video of you watching other content. If you’ve spent any time on social media, you’ve certainly seen this format. 

Pro tip: Find content that has already gone viral. You already know it has an effective hook and story that people are interested in. Leverage the proven virality of a clip and add your own spin on it.

2. Podcast clips

There’s only one thing people love as much as podcasts right now: podcast clips. 

Podcast clips are short clips taken from a long-form podcast. They have usually been edited to add captions, include animations and delete any silences. 

They are 20-60 second clips that make a quick, pertinent point that resonates with people. 

3. Keynote talks (speaking on stage)

Nothing screams authority like a person on a stage. 

In the same way you might chop up a podcast, you can chop up a keynote speech to create lots of valuable short form content.

3. Horizontal scaling

    Fonts: Change the fonts of the captions.Editing: Mix up the editing and animations you use on top of the original clip. Use splitscreen content: Ever seen short form content where half the screen is clips of GTA gameplay or satisfying gloop? This method may be an attack on our attention span, but it works.

5. Don’t get flagged as spam

If you use the ‘Horizontal Scaling’ method (see section 3) to post ungodly amounts of content, you’ll need to take some precautions.

Social media algorithms (understandably) don’t like spammy behaviour. Do the following to make sure your accounts aren’t flagged as spam. 

    5 accounts per person: One person should only manage 5 accounts per platform. If you want more than 5 accounts, you’ll need to hire another social media manager. Be social: On each of the accounts, make sure you are watching other people’s content (watch videos all the way through). Like it. Comment. Imitate normal behaiour. Respond to comments: Respond to every single comment on your posts. Not only is this good for boosting the post’s performance, but will also show the algorithm you’re a walking, talking human. Warm up the account: When you make an account, add a profile picture and bio. Save 3-4 posts to drafts. Then, after using the account to watch, like and comment on other content for a few days, start posting. Don’t be too repetitive: Don’t just copy and paste captions on every post. Don’t always tag the same person in your posts. Don’t act like a bot would. 

6. Scale with a team
